For nearly four decades, Jill Jones has helped clients create interiors that feel both elevated and deeply personal. As VP of Design & Sales at ID.ology Interiors & Design, Jill guides clients through every stage of a project, from initial concept through furnishings, sourcing, and final installation, bringing a rare ability to blend classic and antique elements with fresh, livable design.
Jill’s approach is rooted in the belief that the best interiors carry a sense of history and warmth, not just style. That philosophy shows up in her signature talent for weaving heirloom and collected pieces into contemporary spaces, giving homes a layered, timeless quality that feels curated rather than decorated.
A Lifelong Eye for Design
Jill’s path into design began early. At age 10, a visit to her aunt’s atelier introduced her to the world of aesthetics and craftsmanship, an experience that stayed with her. Growing up surrounded by her parents’ antique collection further shaped her sensibility, planting a lifelong love of antiquing that continues to inform both her personal life and her professional work today.
That early foundation eventually grew into formal training in interior design, and decades later, Jill remains just as committed to the craft, staying certified and credentialed at the highest levels of her field while also bringing a health conscious perspective to the materials and products she recommends to clients.
Design With Depth and Range
That combination of classical training and contemporary fluency allows Jill to move easily between design languages, harmonizing traditional pieces with modern spaces in a way that feels intentional and personal to each client. Her portfolio includes numerous published projects across North Carolina, New York, New Jersey, Florida, and international locations, reflecting a versatility that spans regions, styles, and cultural influences.
The goal, for Jill, is never simply a beautiful photograph. It’s a home that reflects the people who live in it.
Relationships at the Center
Beyond her technical expertise, Jill’s true passion is the relationships she builds with clients. She finds her greatest reward not in accolades, but in the moment a client walks into their finished space and sees their vision fully realized for the first time.
That same generosity extends to her work within ID.ology. A firm believer in paying it forward, Jill mentors emerging designers on the team, sharing decades of insight and helping shape the next generation of design talent. Collaboration is central to her process, and she regularly draws inspiration from fellow designers, industry leaders, and design media to keep her perspective sharp and current.
Personal Passions
Jill’s love of antiquing remains one of her greatest personal joys, doubling as an ongoing source of inspiration for the layered, story rich interiors she’s known for. Her journey from a curious ten year old in her aunt’s atelier to a respected design leader reflects decades of dedication to a craft she has never stopped loving.
